Our client is a global professional services team helping the world's leading companies turn strategy into results. The team require an experienced data engineer to help build and maintain the Data & Dashboards workstream as they look to develop the client facing dashboards for the company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Store, transform, translate, existing data, developing scalable ELT pipelines that will help in the design of client facing PowerBI dashboards.
  • Ensure reliable data delivery from diverse sources such as APIs, transactional databases, file-based endpoints and S3 buckets.
  • Collaborating with product and regional teams to help build data models and workflows that drive decision making and analytics across the company.
  • Implementing data governance policies, including standards for data quality, access controls, and classification.
  • Mentoring junior team members and championing best practices in data engineering, including code reviews, testing, and pipeline orchestration.

Profile:

  • 4 years' + experience as a data engineer with a track record of building and optimising complex pipelines in big data environments.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and manipulation.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data stack tools, including Airbyte, dbt, Snowflake and cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Familiarity with data modelling concepts and warehousing best practices, including dimensional modelling.

  • Duration: 2 months, with potential for becoming a permanent role
  • Start date: February 3 rd 2025
  • Day rate: Up to £500Ltd / £350 PAYE per day
  • Location: Remote
