A global leader in the design, marketing and distribution of premium lifestyle products is seeking a data scientist with product experience, to join their customer insights and experience team.

You will be responsible for improving customer experience through building machine learning recommendation systems. You will also be responsible for developing the roadmap and launching recommendation system products to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build cutting edge personalisation using both batch and real time recommendations.
  • Run analysis to justify key model decisions, activate the recommendations through multiple channels, and then communicate results back to the business to put hard revenue numbers against our work.
  • Take a business problem, run some exploratory analysis, and use this to draw insights and convert into action.
  • Create strategic roadmap for roll out of recommendation systems across the business.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to communicate roadmap and ensure accurate data collection.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of building machine learning models to meet business objectives.
  • Experience in a consumer environment; retail, marketing, and e-commerce, ideally with a retail business.
  • Experience exposing ML models as an API endpoint to be used in real-time recommender systems.
  • Experience with MLOps tools and technologies to be able to experiment with different model setups and track improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing products and creating strategic roadmaps.=

Details:

  • Salary: 65-75k FTC, dependent on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Location: hybrid, 2-3 day in London
