Supply Chain Analyst - Food and Beverages

 

Our client is a prominent international restaurant business and they are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Data Analyst to join their dynamic UK & Europe Supply Chain Team. This role will focus on leveraging data and insights to enhance operational efficiency, improve supplier performance, and ensure accurate forecasting and cost management across multiple European markets.

 

You will be responsible for automating demand forecasts, developing dashboards to track KPIs, providing actionable insights, and working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance. A background in supply chain analytics, procurement, or logistics management is essential, along with strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in supply chain analytics, procurement, or logistics management
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel (primary tool for data management)
  • Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI
  • Experience in process creation and optimization within supply chain management

 

Responsibilities:

  • Automate demand forecasting at SKU item level in Power BI, covering short, medium, and long-term horizons
  • Analyze and clean data from various sources, including supplier reports, sales forecasts, and market trends, to provide actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track KPIs such as supplier performance, cost of sales, forecast vs actuals, and stock levels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Logistics, Buying, Marketing, Finance) to ensure optimal stock placement and support promotional forecasting

 

Details:

  • Start date: ASAP in January
  • Contract duration: 3-6 months (with potential for permanent placement)
  • Day rate: £150-£200 PAYE / £200-£250 Ltd (depending on experience)
  • Location: Woking (mostly in-office, 5 days per month; remote work available for the right candidate)
