Interim PMO Lead

A PE-backed financial services firm is currently devising a refreshed 5-year strategic value creation plan, after a change in main investor earlier this year. 

Reporting to the Director of Strategy, you will be helping to set up the PMO function in anticipation of a large amount of high-impact change initiatives in the near future. 

Responsibilities

  • Structure the PMO activities and governance at Group level, to ensure initiatives are on track to be delivered according to time, budget, and governance standards
  • Build a detailed roadmap which clearly states stakeholders, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Build the benefits and cost trackers, and set reporting structures to ensure appropriate amounts of detail are filtered through from team to group levels, as well as PE partners

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building a PMO function, with an understanding of how to set up structures and process, not just run them
  • Worked in complex transformation programmes, with a very strong preference for within PE-backed companies
  • A background in management consulting
  • Ideally had  exposure to financial services, with an understanding of added regulation and governance requirements

Other Details

  • Start date: Mid September
  • Duration: Until mid-November, with potential to extend until end of year (and maybe beyond)
  • Day rate: £600 - £900 LTD
  • Location: Ideally UK based, but open to remote from European locations
