Our client in a leading life sciences consultancy is working on an obesity and metabolism competitive intelligence project and requires a researcher to join the team for four months.

Working with a global pharmaceutical end-client, you will join the existing team providing support on research, analysis and drawing out insights within specific research topics of obesity and metabolic research.

 

Required

  • BSc in life sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biomed, Organic Chem, Pharmacology or similar)
  • UK-based with the ability to travel in the EU and US without visa challenges
  • Understanding of the drug development and commercialisation process, including clinical trials and regulatory steps
  • Previous competitive intelligence experience; market research, market access, clinical development or medical communications experience also valued

 

Preferred

  • MSc or PhD in life sciences, or 1-2yrs experience in the industry
  • Knowledge of the obesity/metabolic therapy area
  • Experience building competitive landscapes, undertaking primary research, secondary/market research
  • Experience reporting on/summarising pharmaceutical earnings calls or investor materials
  • Experience providing conference/medical congress coverage on behalf of clients, including session attendance and reporting and conducting in-person primary research

 

Details:

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 4 months with potential for extension
  • Day rate: Up to £250 PAYE, £300LTD depending on experience
  • Location: 2 days per week in central London office, must be able and willing to travel to Europe and the US for conferences
