In 2015, Hoffman became the first civilian to graduate from the U.S. Army’s Red Team Leader Program at the University of Foreign Military and Cultural Studies. This ‘Red Teaming’ is a system developed by the U.S. military and intelligence agencies to make critical and contrarian thinking part of an organization’s strategic planning process.
As president of Red Team Thinking, Hoffman now teaches companies around the world how to use the same approach to strengthen their plans, stress-test their strategies, identify missed opportunities and expose hidden threats in order to help them succeed in today’s rapidly changing global economy.
In incredibly uncertain times when businesses need to think through strategies rather than purely react, in this session Hoffman will go through a methodology for that cognitive process – a framework for evaluating the sort of complex problems posed by this pandemic, and the tools necessary for solving them.
What we'll cover:
How businesses can strengthen plans
How to identify missed opportunities and expose hidden threats
How to stress-test strategies
Groupthink mitigation techniques designed to find the best ideas, regardless of where they come from within your organization
