Freshminds is proud to be Certified™ by Great Place To Work® for the second year in a row. This prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience of working at Freshminds.
This year, an impressive 100% of employees said that Freshminds is a great place to work – 46 percentage points higher than the average UK company.
Great Place To Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviours proven to deliver revenue, employee retention and increased innovation. Certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees providing information and opinion about their company culture.
Best Workplaces for Women 2024
In addition, Freshminds has been recognised in the Best Workplaces for Women List 2024.
This List pinpoints businesses who have demonstrated a dedication to achieving a balanced representation of women and men, breaking down barriers to women’s career progression, whilst also cultivating an environment where every employee, irrespective of gender, can thrive.
Director Edith Carmichael commented:
“We are very proud of achieving both the Great Place to Work Certification and UK’s Best Workplaces for Women List this year. We strive to be a diverse workplace at all levels of seniority and we’re delighted that this is reflected in the feedback and experience of the Freshminds team. We will continue to listen to our team and do our utmost to foster an inclusive culture where everyone feels heard and valued.”
Managing Director Adam Clements commented:
“We are delighted that Freshminds has retained its Great Place to Work™ accolade for 2024, whilst also achieving a ‘UK’s Best Workplaces for Women’ status for the first time.
Both awards are of huge importance to us as we strive to improve our business on so many fronts: diversity and inclusion, learning and development, reward, employee engagement and many more. It is a real testament to our management and team that we have been able to meet these goals whilst navigating what remain tough trading conditions in many of our core UK markets.
We are excited at what our team will achieve as more positive conditions return.”
Freshminds culture
Amongst other highlights, Freshminds regularly hosts or supports charity events; holds well attended and varied social activities and offers competitive benefits to employees, including a generous sabbatical programme.
Employee feedback within the Certification data reflected strongly on elements of the Freshminds company culture including that the management team fully embodied the company values; being described as ‘genuinely nice people who want to work collaboratively to achieve the company’s stated aims’.
