New Director appointment at Freshminds

The board of Freshminds is delighted to confirm the appointment of Edith Carmichael to the position of Director of Search.

Following seven years at Freshminds, and now heading up the specialist Search division, Edith will continue her work in senior strategic and operational search. Her projects range from discrete, targeted executive headhunting for top-tier individuals, to designing and delivering complex hiring programmes.

Clients of Freshminds’ Search division include a number of boutique investment banks, financial services businesses and PE-backed businesses, and high-growth corporates.

Freshminds’ Managing Director James Callander said:

“The board were delighted to approve Edith’s promotion to Director at Freshminds this month. She has been a stalwart in the business over the last 7 years and progressed fast up the ranks to lead our permanent Search business in 2023. Beyond that she is a fantastic headhunter, clear-headed leader and great ambassador for the wider Freshminds business.

There is lots to do as we continue to broaden our offering and move into ever more senior search work.”

Edith commented:

“Freshminds has, and will continue to be, a fantastic place to grow your career. I’m proud of the last 7 years spent here and excited for what’s to come.

Our Search business in particular has gone from strength to strength. Our focus remains on working in true partnership with our clients to identify and deliver excellent individuals to accelerate and transform their businesses.

We are proud of the unwavering commitment to quality, speed and thoroughness that we deploy on our searches and are looking forward to building and expanding our reach in years to come.”
